Master of Dreams
There once was a magical land called Pi. Where the name came from was simple. Endless number, endless power. Pi was the house of talented and special ones. Everything was possible in Pi. It was like heaven in some way. There were green trees everywhere and the leaves of the trees had a healing effect on people who were hurt. For transportation, they all had their spirit animals, matched with their own personality. As you can tell, it was a magical place, but getting there was challenging.
In total there were five planetariums with three different groups. Every five years, one representative from each planetarium and their family gained entrance to the Pi habitat. One of the planetariums had a magical story about an outstanding girl. The planetarium where the Bloom family, the Collin family, and the Stewart family lived. Each had different powers like controlling fire, shapeshifting, and teleportation. The Blooms had the power of shapeshifting, the Collins had the power of teleportation and lastly, the Stewarts had the power of controlling fire. This is the story of Bella Bloom who started as the “Disgrace of the Blooms” and became the “Master of Dreams”.
Bella was a seventeen-year-old shapeshifter. She was the daughter of the magnificent shapeshifter, Timothy Bloom. Everyone in the other planetariums knew who Timothy was. With only a snap he could turn any creature to what he desired. Unfortunately, in the beginning, Bella couldn’t even transform an apple into a pear. She had tried for a year straight to become like her father but ended up failing. Her father was frustrated with her because of her incompetence. One day, while Bella was reading a book about shapeshifting to improve her powers, out of the blue the book turned into the greatest master of shapeshifting, the famous Benedict Alexander. When Bella got over the fact that he was standing in front of her, he said, “Well child, it’s time. You have no idea about how powerful you are, don’t try to transform small things, think bigger, act bigger.”
That night, Bella saw a dream where she fought Elsa Collin, the daughter of a transporter. In that dream, she tricked Elsa’s mind and made Bella transport to where she was. Knowing your enemies’ moves before them was the biggest advantage for Bella. After that night Bella was filled with hope and courage. She took a walk with her father in the gloomy snowy weather. After walking a while in the silent forest, Bella’s father said, “It’s time to go home Bella.”
They turned the corner and came face to face with Elsa and her father. Timothy knew that Daniel would request a practice match between the girls, just to show off Elsa’s powers. Elsa was strong but Timothy wanted to believe that his daughter wouldn’t disappoint him. Just as if he was waiting for this moment, Timothy said “Shall we Daniel? We both know that you want this practice match to happen so badly. Am I right?”
Daniel said “Oh, dear old Timothy, you never learn, do you? Elsa was born a winner, unlike your poor child Bella.” Timothy was frustrated. He wanted to prove Daniel wrong. It was time for a practice match between Bella and Elsa before the real match.
After the decision, Bella and Elsa went to court. The magical judges took their places.
“In three, two, one … Go!”
When the match began, by using her powers Elsa disappeared with the blink of an eye. Bella was panicked, she thought she was going to fail. At that moment Bella heard Alexander. He whispered, “Go to your dream Bella, go back.”
At that moment, with all of her soul, Bella thought about her dream, and, all of a sudden she disrupted Elsa’s powerful transportation, which had never been done before. That had only one explanation. It was Bella and her dream. She got her powers from her dreams and that was how she
made her enemy, Elsa lose. Before Elsa could make her move, Bella transformed into a wolf and bit Elsa’s leg. Elsa tried to get up and use her powers but it was impossible, she was in too much pain. That was when Bella thought “Now, my father will be proud of me.”
That night, Benedict Alexander came and made a speech to Bella about her extraordinary powers.
“Dear, until today you’ve developed more powers than an ordinary shapeshifter. As you can see Bella, you have the ability to realize what you see in your dreams. With you being different from the others, you will succeed in the final match.”
It was the night before the matchday. With all her soul Bella wanted Benedict to visit her in her dream. Bella fell asleep on the couch. In her dream, Benedict appeared and walked her through the match.
“Bella, be aware that you need to stay concentrated on this match.”
Then he disappeared. Later on, in her dream, she saw herself controlling Ally’s, the daughter of a fire controller’s powers. Before Bella woke up, she saw her father congratulating her. In the morning, Bella already knew what was going to happen. With the help of her special powers, she was prepared for the matchday. That was the day Bella would be announced as the “Master of Dreams”.
The teams began the match; the Blooms, and the Stewarts. “Ready, set, go!” said the judges. At that moment Bella went back to her dream and she read Ally’s mind. She mastered the spell that Ally was going to cast and used it against her. She was enchanted by her powers. No one in the match knew that Bella was different. In the blink of an eye, Ally was drowning in water. Bella’s power made everything possible; as a shapeshifter, she had no power to control the fire, but with her dreams, she made every thought come alive. Everything happened so fast that nobody understood anything, but there was only one thing that mattered: Bella’s victory. Right after, Bella’s victory got announced, her father Timothy said:
“Bella, dear, you started with no talent, but now you are the most powerful girl in the planetarium. Not only you are going to Pi but controlling your dreams and living them afterward is a gift. You are gifted Bella. Not me, you. So you go and rule the land child. From now on Pi is your land.”
2 Years Later
Now Bella is known as the “Master of Dreams”. She rules Pi. She is famous for her special power. She is different, and she knows how to take advantage of her difference. The courage, perseverance, and the independence she has is remarkable. Bella gives lessons for the special ones like her now, she teaches magic with her mind.
“I had nothing when I was your age. I didn’t have a clue about my powers of dream-controlling. Sometimes you just need a little push to realize that you are different.”
Bella had Benedict, and the kids had Bella. Bella’s power increased day by day, and with that, she continued to encourage every special kid to find their own power. Everything started in her mind and ended in her mind.“Master of Dreams” is her name, not only because she can control her dreams, but because she can make every little kid’s dream come true.
